Let's prepare for the IELTS exam by making sure that you know exactly what will be happen in the day of your test. There are some special tips for the IELTS tests.
1. Sleep well and Eat well
The IELTS test is too very long and it takes 2 hours 4o minutes to do the listening, reading and writing test. Make sure that you rested well and have eaten inorder to keep your concentration during the test.
Wear very comfortable clothing. You are not marked for the appearance for any part of the test. So, be wear something that you are very comfortable in and that gives you very confidence.
3. Write about and relax about ideas
This is a very similar idea. IELTS is an international exam and the questions are written to be answered by anyone around the world. Some people will stress about finding ideas and they shouldn’t. The ideas you need are generally very simple.
4. Examples are easier to write than explanations
In an exam you are under very pressure. You want to be make the things as easy for yourself as possible. One practical idea to achieve that this is to focus as much on examples as explanations when you write. It’s simply very harder if you only think “because”. Some of the ideas may be very complex and, under pressure, it can be very difficult to explain these with reasons.
There will be a clock on the room and make sure about where it is before the test starts so you can keep checking it in your reading and writing test. You can't take the watch into the exam room.
